The New Piece

"Sympton 1". I have no comments to make other than I love it! A big thank you also to Jana for having made this one possible.

2007 - A Year In Review

Despite the loss of a major client, I can say with certainty that the year was a good one: No less than eight additional new clients, full fledged equipment, hardware and software upgrades and a jump of net profits of 29% from the previous year. As well as the previledge of being pampered with the loyalty of my old clients some of which I have been shooting for since 2002!

December also left just about enough time to catch up on getting some personal work produced which shall be fit for the walls of galleries and a published book...preferrably in the near future. But more about that later.

I'm looking foward to the challenges 2008 will have to offer and wish everyone around me nothing but the best!

White and Warren.

Exquisite. My first batch of shoots has been completed. A wide selection of high end scarves, sweaters, jackets even ballet flats out of the finest cashmeres. Besides the fact that the White and Warren team is fun to work with. A big "thank you" to Liz for having gotten me on board!

Some girls.

Tests with Supreme, Fusion and Q Model girls. Featured here is Katerina from Supreme who I was lucky to get for 3 hours prior to a shoot for American Vogue. Her poses where immaculate. As for looks, judge for yourself.

In October, squadrons of new clients...

...are taking over my days, filling up my schedule quicker than Mr. Softee a double sized cone. Yum! More lingerie, cashmere sweaters and shoes. While my existing clients expand with no end in sight.
In the meantime the market rallied since late August causing my portfolio to grow overall 14% in 2 months. Time to sell some of those ETF's, Google and Apple.

A five day job for one.

Budget wise that is. But that's OK as this new client, Kathryn Amber Leigh are good people. Needless to say that their shoes are absolutely fantastic...high heels, lots of suede and a strong color palette. The brand is run by a powerhouse duo of entrepreneurism that already sells in the US, UK and South Korea.

Tory, Tory, Tory!

September 2007. The end of an era. I’ve worked with Tory Burch since the days when she ran her label out of a Pierre Hotel suite 5 years ago and must say it was a terrific ride. A success story of the American fashion industry that only comes about every now and then. In the meantime her busy employees frequent a full floor on Madison Avenue, the e-commerce site has generated a growing following, and the number of stores are at 5 and counting. I’ll miss working with the online retail and pr crew. But her business has grown so tremendously that I as a one-man-band am not in a position to maintain the web sales catalog which can be found at www.toryburch.com
I also would like to send out my best wishes to the heads of internet sales for actually having thanked me for what I have done over the years, a rather rare occurrence in most service industries. May our businesses keep growing.
